No-Crust Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans, chopped fine
    3 egg whites
    20 vanilla wafers
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Chop fine or grind pecans.
    Crumble wafers.
    Mix them well with sugar.
    Beat egg whites until stiff (peaks).
    Add to dry ingredients; mix well.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour mixture into well buttered glass pie pan.
    Cook in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 25 or 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
