Lemon Pie(Microwave) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
6 beaten egg yolks
3/4 c. lemon juice
4 1/2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
Preparation

Combine sugar, water and salt.
Mix together cornstarch and 1/2 cup water and add to first mixture.
Cook until thick. Combine egg yolks, lemon juice, butter and lemon peel.
Add to first mixture and cook until thick again.
Stir often.
Add 2 tablespoons of prepared meringue to filling and pour into a baked pie shell.
Top with remaining meringue and bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes until brown on top.
