Mexican Hominy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 qt. chicken broth
1 lb. lean boneless pork, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
3 dried red chiles, washed, stemmed, seeded and finely chopped
1 tsp. dried whole oregano
1/2 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper
1/4 lb. hot Italian sausage, sliced
1 (15 oz.) can white hominy, drained
Preparation

Saute onion and garlic in oil in a large Dutch oven until tender.
Add chicken broth, pork, chiles, oregano and pepper; bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer 2 hours.
