Barbecue Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. barbecue sauce
1 egg
1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
salt and pepper
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
Preparation

Combine 1/4 cup of the barbecue sauce, 1/4 cup water and the egg in a large bowl. Stir in bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Mix in meat until well combined. On a baking pan, shape the meat mixture into a loaf. Bake 1 hour. Spread remaining 1/4 cup sauce over top and sides of meat loaf and continue baking 30 minutes longer. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Makes 12 slices.
