Creamy Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 potatoes, pared and sliced
1 onion, minced
1 qt. milk
2 c. chicken broth
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. celery salt
salt and pepper to taste
3 Tbsp. minced chives (if desired)
Preparation

Combine potatoes, onion, broth and water in saucepan.
Simmer, covered, 35 minutes.
Pour into blender.
Cover.
Blend until smooth.
Return to boiling.
Stir in milk, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 4 to 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Garnish with chives, if desired.
Yields 8 servings.
