Dove Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 doves per serving
    1 pkg. dry sour cream mix or small carton sour cream
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. oregano
    dash of black pepper
    1/2 c. red wine
Preparation
    Soak doves in salt water about 2 hours.
    Mix sour cream, soup and seasonings.
    Arrange doves in casserole.
    Pour soup mixture over doves.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until tender.
    Pour wine over doves about 10 minutes before done.
    Quail can be substituted for doves.
