Granny Pew'S Brown Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice (brown or white)
    1/4 c. butter or low-fat margarine
    1 small onion
    1 can beef broth (low salt)
    1 can consomme
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, saute chopped onion in margarine.
    Add rice, beef broth and consomme. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until liquid is absorbed (approximately 20 to 25 minutes). Serves 4.
