Green Tomato Ketchup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes, ground fine (measure after ground)
    1 large head cabbage, ground
    1 qt. onions, ground
    2 hot peppers, ground
    2 sweet peppers, ground
    4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. turmeric
    2 Tbsp. white mustard seed
    1 qt. pure vinegar
Preparation
    Combine tomatoes, onions and cabbage when ground into a bag and squeeze out juice
    or
    drain
    overnight.
    Let vinegar, sugar and other seasonings
    heat,
    then
    add other ingredients and cook 30 minutes.
    Stir,
    fill
    jars and seal.
    Makes about ten pints. This is an old recipe and very good.
