Chocolate Scotcheroos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Rice Krispies
    1 (6 oz.) chocolate bits
    1 (6 oz.) butterscotch bits
Preparation
    Combine the two sugars.
    Cook over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until mixture boils.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in the peanut butter.
    Mix well.
    Add Rice Krispies.
    Press into buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Melt chocolate bits and scotch bits over hot, but not boiling water.
    Blend well.
    Pour evenly over Rice Krispies mixture.
    Cool until firm.
