Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    5 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except water, real good.
    Then add water. Mix just enough for dough to evenly absorb water.
    Mold into ball and place on well-floured surface.
    Roll out to pie-plate size. Lift carefully to avoid stretching dough and place in pie plate. Trim around edges with dinner knife.
    (For pie with top crust, recipe should be doubled.)
    Add filling, moisten around edge with water, then place top crust over filling and crimp around edges with fork tines.
    Then bake according to pie directions.
