Greek Easter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. sesame seed
Preparation
    Cream butter with Crisco.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Mix egg yolk and vanilla; add to mixture.
    Add the evaporated milk.
    Beat the egg whites to form a stiff peak.
    Add to mixture.
    Add in flour and baking powder a little at a time using your hands and knead together.
    Let set for 1 hour.
    Roll out dough into long strips and twist into braided shape.
    Brush tops with beaten egg before baking and sprinkle with sesame seed.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0 and bake 20 to 30 minutes.
