Uncooked Green Tomato Chow-Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. finely chopped green tomatoes
    3 c. finely chopped cabbage
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. horseradish
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Sprinkle layers of tomatoes, cabbage, onion and green pepper with salt; let stand overnight.
    In the morning, squeeze vegetables dry.
    Add other ingredients.
    Pour into clean jars and cover.
    Kept in refrigerator, relish will keep from 2 to 3 weeks. Makes about 1 quart.
