Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1 1/2 c. sliced onions
4 1/2 c. sliced potatoes
2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. butter
7 tsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika
1 3/4 c. milk
7 c. boiling water
Preparation

Cut parsley onto waxed paper.
Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Add the sliced onions, potatoes and 2 teaspoons of salt to boiling water. Cook, covered, 5 minutes.
Melt butter in skillet.
Add flour, salt, pepper and paprika.
Add the milk.
Cook on low heat until smooth and thickened.
Grease 1 1/2-quart casserole with little butter.
Add layer of onions and potatoes, drained.
Sprinkle chopped parsley over first layer and repeat for second layer, ending with rest of parsley on top.
Cover with sauce and bake for 35 minutes.
Yields 8 servings.
Preparation time is 55 minutes.
