Ice Box Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine
    1 (16 oz.) box light brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and divide into 6 rolls.
    Wrap tightly in waxed paper.
    Chill in refrigerator at least 12 hours.
    Slice thin and bake at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 7 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Dough will keep in refrigerator 4 to 6 weeks.
    Makes 10 to 12 dozen cookies.
