Ingredients

6 medium cooked, sliced beets
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch.
Add vinegar; boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add butter; pour over beets.
Better if left overnight to improve flavor.
