Fig Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    3 eggs
    2 c. fig preserves
    1 c. nuts
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients; add oil and beat well.
    Add eggs; beat. Then add milk, figs, nuts and vanilla.
    Bake in greased tube pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
