White Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium squash, grated
    1 small onion, grated
    1 c. crushed saltines
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1/2 tsp. sweet basil (dried)
    3/4 to 1 c. evaporated milk
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Grate squash on coarse grater.
    Grate onion on medium grater. Mix all ingredients together to the consistency of custard.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Put in buttered casserole dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
