Walnut Holiday Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    8 oz. maraschino cherries, drained
    1/2 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Cream the first 4 ingredients.
    Add eggs, beaten in one at a time.
    Sift together flour and baking powder and stir into mixture. Separately mix cherries and walnuts.
    Fold into batter.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0 in tube pan.
    Great for brunch.
    Delicious and moist.
