Mushroom Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. coarsely chopped mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dried basil
    2 sprigs parsley
Preparation
    Cook and stir mushrooms and onion in skillet over medium heat until all liquid is absorbed. Put mushroom-onion mixture, cream cheese, salt and basil in blender. Cover and blend on high speed, occasionally scraping sides of container, about 2 minutes. Add parsley and cover; blend 30 seconds longer. Cover and chill 3 hours. Serve with round buttery crackers.
