(Hot) German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium potatoes
    6 strips bacon
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Boil potatoes.
    Cool slightly, peel and cut in 1/8-inch slices to make about 4 cups.
    Cut bacon in small pieces and fry until crisp.
    Drain on paper towel and set aside.
    Reserve bacon grease. Stir flour, sugar and seasonings into bacon grease until smooth. Cook until bubbly.
    Add water and vinegar to flour mixture.
    Cook until mixture boils and thickens.
    Add potatoes and bacon; stir gently so potatoes hold their shape.
    Cover casserole and let stand until ready to serve.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
