Sunshine Cake(Grandmother Hasselo) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

whites of 7 eggs
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour (cake flour sifted five times)
1/2 scant tsp. cream of tartar
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla or almond flavoring
5 egg yolks

Preparation

Beat whites stiff, add cream of tartar.
Slowly add sugar.
Add yolks beaten light.
Fold in flour.
Bake in tube pan about 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
