Chili-Cheese Hominy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. onions
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 (15-1/2 oz.) can golden hominy, drained
    2 (4 oz.) cans chopped green chilies, drained
    1 (8 oz.) carton of commercial sour cream
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1-1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter in a large skillet for 5 minutes.
    Add hominy, green chilies, sour cream, chili powder, and pepper;
    add 1/2 cup cheese.
    Stir well.
    Pour into a lightly greased 10 x 6 x 2 baking dish; bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle remaining 1 cup cheese over top, bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
    Yield:
    6-8 servings.
