Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 loaves frozen whole wheat bread dough, thawed
    1 egg white, lightly beaten
    1 tsp. water
    coarse salt (if you wish)
Preparation
    Thaw bread in refrigerator overnight.
    Roll dough into 24 (1 1/2-inch) balls (12 balls from each loaf of bread).
    Roll each ball into a rope, 14 inches long.
    Shape each rope into a pretzel by forming a knot and looping the ends through.
    Place pretzels 1 inch apart on a well-greased cookie sheet.
    Let stand for 20 minutes.
    Combine egg white and water; brush on pretzels. Sprinkle with salt if you wish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
