Grandma Trey Clement'S Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. grated carrots
    1/2 c. coconut
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Combine oil, sugar and eggs.
    Beat.
    Add dry ingredients, carrots, nuts, coconut and pineapple.
    Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Check for doneness with a toothpick.
