Fried Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh asparagus or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen asparagus spears
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. Crisco shortening
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Wash and trim bottoms of fresh asparagus.
    Cut asparagus in 1/2-inch diagonal slices.
    Melt Crisco in large skillet.
    Saute asparagus for about 5 minutes.
    Add lemon juice, salt and pepper. Serve hot.
