Mexican Cinnamon Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

1/2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. flour
2 Tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Cream the brown sugar with butter and shortening.
Sift the flour with the baking soda, salt and cinnamon and add to the creamed mixture.
Add the water and nuts and stir until well blended.
Roll the dough 2 1/2
inches in diameter.
Slice the roll into 1/8-inch slices.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 6 to 7 minutes.
