Bing Cherry Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can Bing cherries
    2 pkg. orange gelatin
    1 c. pecan meats
    1 c. Muscatel wine (can use sherry)
Preparation
    Drain cherries and add enough water to the juice to make 2 3/4 cups.
    Bring the juice to a boil and pour
    over gelatin. Stir until dissolved. Cool juice and gelatin, then add the wine. Chill in refrigerator until slightly thickened.
    Add cherries and nuts. Pour into ring mold.
    Allow to set. Excellent with avocado halves stuffed with crab or lobster salad.
