Quick Buttermilk Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. yeast
1/2 tsp. soda
4 1/2 c. flour (1/2 whole wheat)
2 c. lukewarm buttermilk
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. melted shortening
1/4 c. warm water
Preparation

Sift flour, salt, sugar and soda in mixing bowl.
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
Add yeast, buttermilk and shortening to flour.
Beat until well mixed.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Turn onto floured board and knead into rolls.
Let rise 30 minutes.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
