Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. ground beef
3 large onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
6 to 8 tsp. chili powder
2 cloves garlic
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 to 3 cans chili beans (optional)
2 qt. home canned tomatoes or 4 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes
Preparation

Saute onions, green pepper and garlic in melted butter.
Add meat and cook until brown.
Drain off fat.
Add other ingredients and simmer slowly 3 to 4 hours.
