Cheesy Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes
    1 onion, sliced
    margarine
    1/3 c. milk
    grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Parboil or microwave unpeeled potatoes.
    Layer in 9 x 13-inch foil-lined pan as follows:
    potatoes (sliced), onion (sliced), margarine (several slices per layer).
    Salt and pepper each layer. Pour milk over the layers.
