Potato Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yeast cake
    2 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. melted shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    7 c. flour
    butter
Preparation
    Soften yeast cake in lukewarm water.
    Add 1 cup mashed potatoes, melted shortening, sugar and salt.
    Cover and let stand in a warm place about 2 hours or until it bubbles.
    Add flour; beat well.
    Cover and chill about 1 1/2 hours before serving time. Shape in rolls.
    Brush with butter and let stand until double in size.
