Pigs Without Blankets - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1 medium onion, minced
1 rib celery, minced
1/2 green pepper, minced
1 lb. hamburg
2 medium potatoes, sliced
salt and pepper to taste
1 can tomato soup
1 1/2 soup cans or more tomato juice
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. garlic powder
6 slices bacon
4 c. chopped cabbage
Preparation

Brown onion, celery, pepper and hamburg in butter.
Mix soup, tomato juice and seasonings.
Layer in greased 4-quart casserole: 1/2 cabbage, 1/2 potatoes, all of meat mixture and 1/2 sauce. Repeat layers.
Top with bacon strips.
Do not cover.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
