Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. fresh spinach, cleaned and torn
    salt
    pepper
    sugar
    1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
    8 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
    1 head crisp iceberg lettuce, broken
    2 large Spanish onions
    1 pkg. frozen tender peas
    1/2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
    1/2 c. Miracle Whip
    4 to 6 oz. shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Use a large bowl; glass is pretty.
    Layer in this order: spinach, sprinkle with salt, pepper and a little sugar; bacon; eggs; iceberg lettuce, sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar; Spanish onions and peas.
    Cover with a mixture of mayonnaise and Miracle Whip (or use all mayonnaise).
    Spread shredded cheese on top.
    Do not toss.
    Should stand 6 to 8 hours, but best if served within 18 hours.
