Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
    1/2 c. or to taste jalapeno slices, coarsely chopped
    1 can Mexican stewed tomatoes, blend in blender for 1 to 2 seconds
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Heat oil
    in
    saucepan\tover medium heat and add onion. Cook until tender.
    Add jalapenos and stewed tomatoes.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
