Blueberry Grunt(Nova Scotia Classic) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. fresh blueberries or 2 cans (15 oz. each) blueberries
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. (each) grated orange rind and baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation
    Pour blueberries into a skillet (include water from cans). Stir in sugar and cook until the first sign of bubbles.
    Mix dry ingredients and orange rind.
    Stir in milk.
    This makes 8 dumplings.
    Drop dumplings by spoonfuls on top of simmering blueberries.
    Cover and cook about 15 minutes or until dumplings are doubled in size.
    (Cover lid tightly, then listen to the dumplings grunt! Is that where the name came from?)
    Serve dumplings with sauce and top with thick cream.
