Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. sliced cukes
    6 onions, sliced
    2 green peppers
    2 red sweet peppers
    1 1/2 qt. white vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    1/4 c. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Cover cukes, onions and red and green peppers with cold water. Let stand overnight.
    Drain well.
    Mix vinegar, sugar, mustard seed and celery seed; bring to a boil.
    Add cucumbers, onions and peppers.
    Simmer until tender.
    Can in jars.
