Sweet-N-Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breasts, cut into 2 x 1/2-inch strips
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 chicken bouillon cube
1/4 tsp. salt (I omit this)
1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 medium green pepper, cut into strips
    1/4 c. thinly sliced onion
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
Brown chicken strips in oil and add 1 cup water, bouillon cube and salt.
Simmer until tender (about 1 hour).
    Meanwhile, drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, pineapple syrup, vinegar and soy sauce.
Cook and stir over medium-high heat until thickened and bubbly.
Remove from heat. Add sauce to chicken when tender and mix.
Stir in chunks of pineapple, green pepper and onion.
Cook over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender, but crisp.
    Serve over rice.
    Makes 6 servings.
