Rhubarb Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. diced rhubarb
    2 eggs, separated
    1/4 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 pie shell
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add rhubarb and 1 cup sugar; cook slowly until rhubarb is soft.
    Combine 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, egg yolks, milk and salt in a bowl.
    Add to rhubarb; cook until thick.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
