Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 3 Tbsp. cocoa (1 sq.)
    1 1/2 c. sugar (maybe 2)
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk
    3 egg yolks, lightly beaten
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    Mrs. Smith pie shell (follow directions)
Preparation
    Shave chocolate into strips.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch, chocolate and salt in saucepan.
    Stir in milk gradually; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
    Boil for 1 minute; remove from heat.
    Stir half the hot mixture into egg yolk; blend egg yolk mixture into hot mixture remaining in saucepan.
    Boil for 1 minute longer, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Blend in butter and vanilla; pour immediately into pie shell.
    Chill for 2 hours.
    Garnish with whipped cream.
