Pickle Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. dill Kosher pickles
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. prepared horseradish
Preparation
    Drain 1 quart pickles.
    Cut in strips.
    Place pickles back in jar and add sugar, onion, celery seed, vinegar and horseradish. Add 1/2 of sugar to bottom of jar and 1/2 on top of pickles.
    Put top on jar and shake jar until all sugar dissolves.
    Place in refrigerator and shake jar occasionally.
    Twenty-four hours later, they are ready to eat.
