Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    6 oz. can sliced mushrooms
    2 lb. sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch strips
    2 cans beef broth, divided
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. ketchup
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/3 c. flour
    2 c. sour cream
    10 oz. uncooked medium egg noodles
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Melt margarine in a large skillet and saute mushrooms for 5 minutes; remove and set aside.
    Brown meat and stir in broth (reserving 2/3 cup), onion, ketchup and garlic salt.
    Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
    Blend reserved broth with the flour; stir into meat.
    Add mushrooms and heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.
    Stir in sour cream; heat thoroughly.
