Shipwreck Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. diced potatoes
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 large onion
    1 c. kidney beans (16 oz.), drained and rinsed
    1/4 c. raw rice
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 can tomatoes (16 oz.)
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 can cream of celery soup, diluted as directed
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place potatoes in bottom of 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Layer butter, onion, beans, rice, green pepper, tomatoes and ground beef (pre-cook enough to drain fat) over potatoes; season with salt and pepper as desired.
    Cover evenly with soup.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Cover the last 30 minutes.
