Self-Rising Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sift flour and sugar together.
    Add shortening and a little over half of the milk to which the flavoring has been added.
    Beat for 2 minutes.
    Add rest of milk and 2 eggs; beat for 2 minutes. Put into greased pans; cook at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes, or until done.
