Amaretto Slush - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
4 1/2 c. water
1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed and mixed well
1 c. Amaretto
lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled
maraschino cherries

Preparation

Combine sugar and water in a saucepan, stirring well.
Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
Combine sugar mixture, lemonade and Amaretto; stir well and freeze
mixture overnight.
