Special Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stalk celery
    1 small onion
    1 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    3 medium potatoes, cubed
    1 carrot, sliced
    1 1/2 c. water
    5 cubes bouillon
    3/4 tsp. salt
    dash of garlic powder
    2 c. milk
    dash of pepper
    1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Saute onion and celery in butter in Dutch oven until tender. Add next 7 ingredients.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.
    Remove from heat and mash with potato masher.
    Add milk and cheese.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.
    Yields 5 cups.
