Shrimp Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) bag salad shrimp (1 lb.)
    whipped cream cheese
    1/2 c. sour cream
    3/4 c. cocktail sauce, divided
    1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Thaw shrimp according to package directions.
    Rinse and drain.
    Refrigerate until ready to use.
    Spread cream cheese in a 6-inch dish or plate.
    Combine sour cream, 1/2 cup cocktail sauce, hot pepper sauce in a small bowl.
    Layer on top of cream cheese. Combine shrimp, remaining 1/4 cup cocktail sauce and parsley in another small bowl.
    Layer shrimp mixture over sour cream mixture. Serve immediately.
    House crackers.
    Makes 3 cups.
