Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 c. peeled, sliced apples
    1/2 c. soft or melted butter or margarine
    1/2 to 1 c. uncooked oatmeal
    1/3 to 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Put apples in an 8-inch square pan. Combine the rest of the ingredients, mixing until crumbly. Regular or instant oatmeal may be used.
    Sprinkle on top of apples.
    Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, until apples are tender. Serves 6.
