Assorted Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dry beans (9 kinds)
    2 ham hocks
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 chopped carrot
    1 stick celery, chopped
    2 cloves garlic
    2 bay leaves
    1 large can tomatoes
    1 medium potato, diced
Preparation
    Put all but potato in pot of cold water; cook on low heat for 4 hours.
    Add potato and cook until potato is done.
