Chess Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup sugar
    1 stick butter
    3 egg yolks, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 cup cooked raisins
    3/4 cup chopped nuts
    Pie crust
Preparation
    Cream sugar, butter, egg yolks and vanilla. Add raisins and nuts. Mix well. Line muffin pans with pie crusts and then add 1 heaping tablespoon of filling to each pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes. After baked, add meringue and brown in oven. Makes 1 doz.
