Leek And Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 bunch leeks, sliced very fine
3 stalks celery, sliced very fine
3 Tbsp. butter
2 1/2 c. diced potatoes
3 c. milk or half milk and half all-purpose cream
1 c. water
Preparation

Put leeks, celery and butter in a pan.
Cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add water.
Cover and cook 10 more minutes. Add potatoes and add more water to cover.
Cover and cook 10 additional minutes.
Add milk.
Simmer until potatoes are tender. Season to taste with salt, pepper and cayenne.
Serve hot.
Serves 6.
